Some people still wouldn’t pay the price of freedom because they’re so deceived that the system is more valuable.
I suppose man can never truly be free, you are influenced by everything around you. The word ‘free’ implies that you live without constraints, which is completely not true, for example you could have been born with abnormally large lungs but if the air is tainted right from birth then they won’t develop properly and the child will suffer from it. Another example would be a child born in Nazi Germany, the child has a very receptive brain, the brain at that age isn’t discriminatory about the information so it won’t have any moral epiphanies about all propaganda and racism if anything it will just learn it better. We live in a reality full of constraints it’s all about managing those correctly so individuals can flourish from the environment, this can all be achieved through the scientific method.
